Pottery Club - Private Session

Pottery Club is all about community and coming together with friends and loved ones.

This private Pottery Club session is ideal for those of you wishing to bring your pals together and enjoy quality time with each other whilst independently creating with clay at your own pace and bringing your imaginations to fruition.

Alex sets up the studio with ambient lighting, chilled music, and access to her pottery tools while you let your imagination run free and surrender to the creative process. Note, this is not a lesson - but if you are stuck with where to start and need some inspiration Youtube is a great place to scrub up on some basic handbuilding skills.

You will have 3 hours in the studio to create, connect, and enjoy the company of your favourites with 1kg of clay each to create your own masterpieces with.

Your pieces will be fired by Alex Rae in her electric kiln - Alex can fire your pieces in the gas kiln if you wish but there will be an additional fee depending on the size of your piece due to the intense labour of love involved in firing the gas kiln.
Allow 6 weeks for the drying and firing process. When your pieces have been completed Alex will be in touch to arrange collection within 7 days or we can discuss delivery if you’re local to Belmont/Vic Park.

The cost is $80 per person and a minimum of six people required for the session to go ahead.

Pottery Club takes place at the Carlisle Collective inside our workshop area and can be organised for almost any day and time (given the workshop is available).
Evenings are great for Pottery Club to really set the mood and relax into our workspace, however, daytime works great too and you’re welcome to book your session when it suits you best.

The scheduled booking times in the scheduling app on this website is just a guide - studio times are flexible.
